Unleashing The Formula To Managing Diabetes Successfully

This article is with reference to my very first conversation with my Diabetic specialist doctor, “What you want is not necessarily what you need.” have struck me so deep that today these words are applicable for even non-diabetics. In the case of a type 1 diabetic, we don’t really know why it happened so we cannot reverse it, but it can be definitely managed/controlled well. Let’s read more about the 4 golden rules to successfully manage diabetes, be it type 1 or type 2.

Golden Rule 1: Balanced Diet

If we want to live as healthy as our ancestors did, we got to eat like them. There were no extra carb restaurants that time and hence they thrived on home-cooked good food. Today the definition of good food is different. McDonald’s is good, but probably not right for you.

Knowing the difference between good food and the right good in today’s 2020 world is essential. Even if you ain’t diabetic this logic of having a balanced diet will work wonders for you. The right amount of protein, fat, carbs, and fiber makes your food plate looked balanced.

Golden Rule 2: Right Medication

The first question that comes to the mind of a recently diagnosed diabetic is, is it the tablet one or the injection one? The doctor derives to a conclusion on the basis of some blood tests to determine whether you need tablets to control sugars (i.e. Type 2) or you need insulin injections (i.e. type 1). Your confusion as a diabetic patient doesn’t stop here, your mind has so many questions it demands answers for. I suggest holding your horses, things ain’t going to change. Obey your doctor, be open-minded to different varieties of medications, you never know which pill or injection you will fall in love with soon.

Golden Rule 3: Take No Stress:

Diabetes is not a disease it is a disorder. Stress will not make it any better. I recommend you do things/activities you enjoy. Enroll for a destressing yoga session or pick up a hobby. It is proven people who engage in hobbies in the evening (post working hours) are more productive at work the next day. You do not like the job you do? Search for another one, or start your own. When you are your own boss you know how much work pressure you can handle. Yes, there are the pros of being flexible and cons of capital but remember, if you are not happy, you are stressed. Everyone is forced to work, no one wishes to, right? Have you figured out what you like in the first place? That’s step one. Then when you are good at what you like, the money shall flow.

Golden Rule 4: Daily Exercise:

This is the only way to keep your metabolism kicking. Next question, what can I do that doesn’t get a hole in my pocket? There are many options. You can do home yoga by putting on your smart TV and YouTubing a 1-hour yoga session. You could also do the old, trusted and proved methodology of exercise the Surya namaskar. For people who like to move outdoor, go for a walk to the nearest garden. If you have the means, you can enroll in various physical activities like gym, Zumba, yoga, dancing, kickboxing, karate, judo, etc. If you are keen on sports that is the best activity you can pursue. You also workout and also learn the skill of playing the sport.

Finally, the formula for successfully managing diabetes is revealed. Follow this for better-controlled blood sugars.

Successful Diabetes Management = Balanced Diet + Right Medication + Take No Stress + Daily Excercise.
